Scott D. Sachs
Scott D. Sachs is Chesapeake Energy Corporation's Western Division Geoscience Vice President, and previously served as Geoscience Vice President in the Northern Division. Prior to joining Chesapeake in 2005, Mr. Sachs had an eighteen year career with Marathon Oil Company. Mr. Sachs has extensive experience in numerous technical and leadership roles encompassing a broad range of international and U.S. onshore assignments with an emphasis on unconventional resource plays. Mr. Sachs received B.S. and M.S. geology degrees from Bowling Green State University and The University of Texas Arlington, completed the Rice University Executive Leadership Program, has been an AAPG member for twenty nine years, and serves on AAPG's Corporate Advisory Board.
