Geosciences Congressional Visits Day, September 29-30, 2015.

AAPG along with other geoscience societies including the American Geophysical Union, American Geoscience Institute and Geological Society of America is arranging congressional visits for our members. This year you will be able to talk with your senators and representative about many important geoscience and energy issues. Both the House and Senate plan to develop comprehensive energy legislation in the late summer and early fall. In addition, as the federal fiscal year draws to a close, legislators will also be interested in hearing from their constituents about appropriation bills that contain riders to ban implementation of hydraulic fracturing regulations and endangered-species listing for sage grouse, or cut geoscience research.

Complete the registration form and return to no later than August 30.
