Meet Bradford "Brad" Prather, 2019 Candidate for AAPG Editor

52196 Added on

First and foremost, I accepted the nomination for AAPG Editor because I would like to make a contribution to continue the long tradition of excellence represented by the AAPG Bulletin.

I can bring the experience I have over the past few years as associate editor for the Bulletin, as well as my experience as chief editor for SEPM SP99, and technical reviewer for numerous others technical journals to maintain and expand the quality and reach of the Bulletin. Secondly, being editor for the Bulletin also gives me a chance to give back to an organization I have been a member of for 40 years, an organization that I have personally benefited from in no small part because I was able to publish in the Bulletin.

I would like to see others exposed to the same benefits that I have.
