The Opening Ceremony, celebrating the World Heritage Site Cartagena de Indias, provides an inspiring and informative, and entertaining event insight into the current state of exploration in Colombia and around the world, as well as a creative celebration of traditional Caribbean music and dance.

The ICE 2022 opening ceremony, moderated by General Chair Victor Vega, includes remarks from the following speakers:
