Virtual Research Symposia Series
- In an effort to stay active and to generate some income for the AAPG Latin America and Caribbean Region in the second half of 2020, the leadership developed a series of Virtual Research Symposia highlighting the geology of some of the region’s most prolific basins
- Symposiums are technical events targeted to researchers and professionals working both in industry and academia
- Symposia will be held via Zoom Enterprise Webinar
- The format includes four technical sessions with five presentations each, 2-4 keynotes from highly renowned speakers, and two panel discussions with experts in the field
- Each symposium lasts two full days, with four technical sessions and a panel discussion held at the end of each day
- The registration fee will be $ 50 for professionals and $ 25 for students, prices that can be paid by displaced workers and employees who are unable to receive company support for their participation
- All symposia will be recorded and made available for purchase on-demand following the symposia
