On 6 March 2019, Dr Liaw Kim Kiat, whose experience in the Geoscience field spans almost 40 years, gave a lecture to students of University Technology PETRONAS. This lecture was organised by the AAPG Student Chapter, and it exposed the attendees to the reality of being a Geologist in today's world. Dr Liaw shared his experiences right from his student days until now, and provided some tips and tricks working in the geoscience field. The students enjoyed his talk.
