Identifying New Approaches to Develop Exploration Concepts – New GTW in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

With the increasing demand on hydrocarbons and the de-creased number and volumes of discoveries, there is a great necessity to find new exploration concepts. Over three days, the Integrated Emerging Exploration Concepts: Challenges, Future Trends and Opportunities workshop will emphasize the importance of identifying new thinking and approaches to develop exploration concepts.

With the increasing demand on hydrocarbons and the de-creased number and volumes of discoveries, there is a great necessity to find new exploration concepts. Over three days, the workshop will emphasize the importance of identifying new thinking and approaches to develop exploration concepts.

The Integrated Emerging Exploration Concepts: Challenges, Future Trends and Opportunities GTW will take place on 24-26 June 2019 at the Kempinski Al Othman Hotel Al Khobar. This is a great opportunity for geoscientists, engineers, research institutes and academic institutions who are exploring for hydro-carbons to network and share experiences.

Main topics to be covered include:

  • Existing best practices of exploration.
  • Under-explored concepts.
  • The role of modeling in integrated exploration concepts.
  • Innovative geophysical techniques for generating explora-tion prospects.
  • Case studies of integrated multi-disciplines.

Attendees are invited to prepare a poster display for presentation. If you are interested in participating, please send a short abstract along with the poster artwork (in PDF high resolution format) to [email protected] by 23rd May 2019.

We look forward to seeing you in Dhahran.
