Valuable workshop opportunity coming soon!

Natural gas hydrate resources potentially exceed all other conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon resources in our world; however, little is known about the ultimate viability of this untapped energy resource.

How will natural gas shape our energy future?

Make plans to attend the workshop “Gas Hydrates – From Potential Geohazard to Carbon-Efficient Fuel?” in Auckland, New Zealand, 15-17 April 2019.

How will natural gas shape our energy future?

Make plans to attend the workshop “Gas Hydrates – From Potential Geohazard to Carbon-Efficient Fuel?” in Auckland, New Zealand, 15-17 April 2019.

The workshop will feature keynote addresses from leading experts from the gas hydrate geoscience and engineering community in the Asia Pacific region. The technical session will cover all aspects of ongoing gas hydrate R&D efforts – ranging from presentations on the major international gas hydrate drilling and testing programs, to the assessment of the environmental issues associated with the production of gas hydrates.

Please consider contributing to this workshop and joining us in New Zealand. Abstracts will be accepted until 30 November.

For additional information please contact the workshop organizer, Adrienne Pereira, or EMD Asia Pacific Region Councilor Barry Goldstein.
