Region winning team from Institute Technology Bandung participate in the finals of the Imperial Barrel Award Challenge
The Asia Pacific's winning team, Institute Technology Bandung of Indonesia, travelled to Calgary to present their work at the finals of the IBA championship. This was held during the AAPG Annual Convention and Exhibition in Calgary, Canada, from 19-22 June 2016. Amidst a line up of international winners, they were confident and presented very well. They were unfortunately not placed but stood tall amongst all the other schools and were deemed to have done an excellent presentation. The students found it a fantastic experience.
The winners of the 2016 IBA championship are the University of Texas at El Paso, followed by Penn State University and Colorado School of Mines.
