Creativity in Exploration E-Symposium

Creativity is valuable to the explorationist. Being able to make connections and to see things in new ways can lead to discoveries of new reservoirs and the development of effective technologies.

Creativity is valuable to the explorationist. Being able to make connections and to see things in new ways can lead to discoveries of new reservoirs and the development of effective technologies. You may not realize it, but creativity is a skill that can be taught and learned. In this new e-symposium, you will learn how geologists have trained themselves to be creative, and as a result, have been involved in significant discoveries.

Ted Beaumont and Doug Strickland will guide you through tactics, strategies, and examples where creativity led to positive exploration. They will also discuss how creativity can be enhanced by understanding the way the brain functions, and the connections between neural pathways and cognition.
