Submit an abstract for the 3rd AAPG/EAGE/MGS Oil and Gas Conference

Exciting Evolution : Myanmar's Petroleum Systems, Plays and Field Developments

The next chapter in the investigation of Myanmar's "Exciting Evolution" as an international exploration target is about to unfold – and now's your chance to be part of the story.

Deadline for abstracts extended to 1 October 2016

Abstracts are being sought for "Exciting Evolution: Myanmar's Petroleum Systems, Plays and Field Developments," a new technical conference that will be held 22-24 February, 2017, in Yangon, Myanmar.

Building upon our second successful technical conference in Yangon in November 2015, this next showing, also held jointly with EAGE and affiliated society the Myanmar Geosciences Society (MGS), will bring another quality geoscience event to this relatively under-explored country that, despite today's challenging era of low oil prices, has remained a global hotspot of activity with wells being drilled and seismic being shot.

Benefits of Attending

This conference provides the opportunity to receive an up-to-date knowledge of oil and gas exploration and production activities in Myanmar, plus academic research impacting our understanding of the geological evolution of both onshore and offshore areas of Myanmar. This conference will provide a great opportunity to network and share experiences.
