University Technology PETRONAS student chapter holds geology event

The Geoscience Exhibition and Competition (GEnC) was the first event to be organized by AAPG Student Chapter of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (AAPG-UTP-SC). GEnC involved all geology and geosciences students from Malaysia. There were four main events in GEnC, which were Outcrop Description Presentation, Outcrop Display, Geoscience Companies Exhibition and Talk, and Grand Dinner. Through this event, our aim was to enhance the understanding of geosciences in students and to prepare the students to face the challenges that they may encounter in industry. This event was led by our project manager, Ms. Lee Ming Xiang and assistant project manager, Ms. Nadira Wahida, followed by 113 members of committees.

Geoscience Exhibition and Competition (GEnC) 2015 was organized on 8 and 9 July 2015 at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Tronoh, Perak, Malaysia.
