Fortesa International is a Houston-based exploration and production company with operations in the Frio Trend of Texas and an onshore concession block in Senegal, Africa. We decided to take a booth at the 2002 APPEX Property and Prospect Expo in Houston with the hope that it would be an effective venue for us to promote an interest in our Senegal opportunity.

As the world heads toward what could be a significant shortfall in energy supply relative to demand, it is more important than ever for our industry to help stakeholders understand the contribution of the hydrocarbon sector in balancing that energy equation. To do that, the industry needs individuals who can find, exploit, and appropriately assess reserves and resources.
