In the evening of September 8th, the AAPG Curtin Student Chapter hosted Manager of Energy Geoscience, Ameed Ghori from the Western Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum for a technical talk on basins and petroleum systems modelling. He also discussed the future of the petroleum industry as part of the AAPG Visiting Geoscientist Program.

Books are something really precious and very meaningful for students. It can grow and expand our knowledge. The AAPG Publication Pipeline committee collects, does inventories, boxes, stores, and sends, free of charge to the recipients, donated geoscience periodicals and books to university libraries and other libraries overseas which are in need of them for use by the students, faculty, and researchers. Our university Diponegoro made a request to the AAPG Pipeline several months ago.
