The students' perspective on the oil and energy industry was well freshened throughout the 7 hour -workshop, which focused on basin modeling, hydrocarbon exploration as well as career development in the industry

Following the very successful Bandung Technical Symposium (13-14 September 2017), several of our AAPG Region members were able to pay visits to the Institute of Technology in Bandung. AAPG Region Vice President Mark Tingay and Region Delegate John Kaldi were there teaching. Bob Shoup, Region Delegate and past-chair of the AAPG House of Delegates, visited the Student Chapter to give the talk '10 Habits of Highly Successful Oil Finders'. The talk was attended by 30 students.
