The AAPG Africa Region IBA 2015 competition will take place among many teams from across Africa in Lagos, Nigeria. The winner will represent Africa at the Global IBA competition in Denver CO, USA May 29 – 31, 2015 at the annual AAPG Exhibition and Conference, for an opportunity to win up to $20,000 USD in scholarship funds for their university.

The newly formed AAPG Angola Chapter held their inaugural seminar 21 May 2014. It covered the distal end of the Congo Delta. It was the first of a series of seminars to be hosted by the chapter on a quarterly basis.
