My first exposure to practical geology was when I volunteered during my industrial placement to work with a Hydrogeology and geo-physical firm during my undergraduate year. It was a job that defined what geology means to me as an individual. I also have an internship experience in the Mining/Economic geology specialization, where I worked full time as a Lapidarist and solid rock geo-chemical analyst. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Mineral sciences from the University Of Ilorin, Nigeria and am also a graduate of the Shell Intensive Technical Graduate Training program. I presently work with Shell Petroleum and Development Co, Nigeria as a Production Seismologist and currently involved in Seismic interpretation & Attribute analysis (which I enjoy immensely, Imagine the ever – increasing ability to see geology and re-construct it in a series of wiggles!), Static modeling and Well & Reservoir Management activity.

Serving in AAPG is a way of giving back what I benefitted from, and also ensuring that the upcoming generation gets more than that!

In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, being with my family and travelling the world – Such Contradictions.
