What does an exploration manager do? What is there to manage? This presentation will provide an informal overview of exploration in Chevron and summary of activities that fill the day of an exploration manager.
Ben Dockrill is Chevron’s exploration manager for Namibia, a position he assumed in early 2023. With 19 years of experience, Dockrill joined Chevron in 2007 and has held roles that span from exploration to reservoir management with increasing responsibility in Australia, Africa and the United States. Dockrill has a Bachelor of Science (Honors) from the University of Sydney in Australia, a doctorate in geology from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and MBA in renewables from Berlin University of Technology in Germany.
