Reef Animals

Forward, seaward, edge of the reef. Note that the Acropora palmata is now oriented into the oncoming wave direction and is spear-like in aspect. I have called this the "tank-trap' geometry of Acropora, reflecting the strong wave trains that impinge on this reef.
