Aerial view of reef and lagoon, off Beach Hotel, Grapetree Bay, St. Croix. This reef has a seaward rim of algal reef, protecting the Acropora coral reef behind. The lagoon is a maximum of about 20 feet deep. Light colored patches are sand bottom, darker patches are grass covered bottom.
