The Career Center will again host two “7-Minute Power Networking” events on Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Résumés or job openings may be posted on AAPG’s web site (www.aapg.org) before the convention.

Careers in the 21st Century

• Sunday, April 20 - 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This course will review the new paradigms that impact each professional’s career, whether a new graduate or an old hand. Over this one-half day class, we will explore how globalization, technological advances and emerging career types create opportunity for professionals to have satisfying, life-long careers. We will examine the individual’s responsibility to manage a career by developing an image and reputation and structure of connectedness and learning to anticipate the uncertain future.
