House of Delegates Distinguished Member Award
John R.V. Brooks
Our first awards are presented to three AAPG members who have served with distinction in the AAPG House of Delegates.
First, a Distinguished Member of the House Award goes to JOHN R.V. BROOKS, an AAPG Honorary member who was first elected to the House of Delegates in 1979, and who currently is a Delegate for the AAPG European Region. As president of that region he also was a Steering Committee member of last year’s highly successful International Conference and Exhibition in Athens. Today he is being recognized specifically for his leadership and service to AAPG, the European Region and the House of Delegates.
