Fredericksburg, settled over 150 years ago by German immigrants, is located in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. With wide streets lined with picturesque homes and buildings, that Old World charm still exists. Fredericksburg is home to numerous natural and historical parks and its historic district provides guests with a view into her past. Fredericksburg’s quaint shops have something for every taste. Guests will have time to enjoy lunch on their own.

We continue to one of the area wineries for a tour and tasting of the many award-winning Texas wines. This viticulture area of Texas is set at an elevation of nearly 2,000 feet and has a moderate climate for fruit production. The soils are distinctively high in minerals, with all the elements to assure production of quality wines.
