Frequently Asked Questions

Following are some frequently asked questions regarding the convention:

1. What is the cost to attend the convention?
   • AAPG or Associated Society Member = $545
   • AAPG Emeritus Member = $275
   • Non Member = $645
   • Student Member = $45
   • Student Non Member = $60
   • One-Day Member = $245
   • One-Day Non Member = $300
   • Guest/Spouse = $75
   • Guest/Spouse of an AAPG Emeritus Member = $38
   • Exhibition Only = $50 (This does not include admission to the technical sessions)
2. When does registration open at the convention?
• Registration will be open at the convention from Saturday, April 19 at 7:30 a.m. through Wednesday, April 23, 12:00 noon.
3. Can I still register before the convention?
• Yes; on-line registration will be open throughout the convention closing Wednesday, April 23. You can also phone Exgenex at +1 781 821 6732 for assistance.
4. Is it too late to send a wire transfer to cover costs?
• Yes.
5. Where can I get more information on the convention?
   • The best resource for information is this website. If you have specific questions you don't find answered on the site itself, please do not hesitate to contact the AAPG Convention Department.
6. How do I cancel my registration?
• Email the Convention Department with your request; however, please be aware that the deadline for refunds has passed (March 20). If you wish, an alternate may attend in your place.
7. If I send an alternate, how do I change the name on the registration?
• This will be done on-site.
8. Do I need my confirmation to pick up my badge?
   • No, we can look you up by your name.
9. Can I still sign up for an event?
• You can still sign up if there is space available. Please call Exgenex at +1 781 821 6732 to check availability for your desired event. You can also check at registration when you arrive in San Antonio.
10. Can I still make hotel reservations?
• Please contact Experient at +1 330 425 9330
  to check for availability of accommodations.
