Exhibitor Information

Rental Space

Commercial Exhibitors:

• 100 sq. ft. – US $19.50 per sq. ft.
• 200 or 300 sq. ft. – US $19.50 per sq. ft.
• 400 sq. ft. or more – US $18.50 per sq. ft.

Exhibit Space Includes:

• 8-ft. back drapes and 3-ft. wing drapes
• 7-in. x 44-in. identification sign (included with in-line booth configuration)
• Booth carpet (by request for booths over 400 sq. ft.)
• Two full-convention registrations per 100 sq. ft. rented
• Five complimentary exhibits-only exhibitor guest passes per 100 sq. ft. rented
• Listings of your company’s products and services in the convention program
• One time vacuuming of exhibit space prior to Sunday’s opening
• Fully carpeted aisleways
• 24-hr. general security in the hall
• A post-convention summary
• Attendee list rental availability

Priority Point System

The AAPG Priority Point System recognizes the partnership of exhibiting, advertising, and sponsoring companies whose contribution promotes and makes possible the continued success of AAPG Conventions and Conferences. Points are awarded to exhibiting companies using the following criteria:

• 2 points per unit (100 sq. ft. or 9m2) for exhibiting with AAPG at an Annual Convention, International Conference, or APPEX London during the last three assignment cycles*.
• 1 loyalty point for each participating event (as described above) up to a maximum of 25 points.
• 2 points for every $2,000 (or corresponding fraction thereof ) in advertisements placed in the AAPG Explorer, AAPG Annual Convention Official Program, and AAPG International Conference Official Program from the last assignment cycle*.
• 1 point for every $3,500 (or corresponding fraction thereof ) in sponsorship participation** for the last assignment cycle*.

*Assignment cycle: moving dates/durations based on the Annual Convention dates (the month after the second past Annual through the month of the last Annual). Example: The 2008 assignment cycle will be May 2006 through April 2007.

**Does not include IP sponsorship.

Choose Your Location

Look at the many areas represented in the exhibits hall and determine the location most suitable for your company. Your company may derive benefits from being near any of the following:

• the AAPG Center, where AAPG departments, divisions, and services will be present;
• the Cyber C@fé, where exhibitors, attendees, and guests can check their e-mail, cruise the Web, and view the Web sites of exhibitors;
• an exhibitor who is well known for attracting large numbers of attendees;
• the Cyber C@fé; or
• the Poster Sessions.

Space Assignments

Priority Point deadline for space assignments is October 12, 2007. Priority Point contracts will not be processed nor exhibit space assigned unless the required deposit is received by this deadline. (Assignments will begin late October)

First-come, first-serve contracts will not be processed nor exhibit space assigned unless the required deposit accompanies the contract. A deposit of 50% of the total amount will be accepted prior to the deadline of January 18, 2008. After this deadline, full space rental payment must be included with the contract.

Your space will be assigned based your requested booth locations as indicated on your contract and space availablilty at the time of your assignment.
