The following short courses are an answer to our challenge, as geoscientists in the 21st Century, to apply all available skills to the search for and the production of oil, gas, energy minerals and water for the benefit of our employers and society in general. Since this requires that we constantly seek out new concepts and technology that can make these searches more efficient and effective, as the resources we pursue become more “unconventional,” the Short Course Program for the 2008 AAPG Annual Convention and Exhibition has been designed to provide you with access to the information, skills and technology that you need to make your practice of geoscience more valuable to you and your employer.
