Matson Wins Mid-Continent Levorsen

American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG)

Shane Matson has won the A.I. Levorsen Award for the best paper presented at the Mid-Continent Section meeting held in October in Tulsa.

Matson’s winning paper was titled “Exploitation of Mississippi Chat Using Horizontal Wellbores in Osage County, Oklahoma.”

Matson is with Spyglass Energy Group in Tulsa.

The next Mid-Continent Section meeting will be held in 2011 in Oklahoma City.
