Officer candidates for the 2017-18 AAPG Executive Committee have been announced, and videos that allow the Membership to become more familiar with them, their careers and their thoughts will be available online soon.

AAPG’s awards recipients for 2016 have been announced for a variety of categories. Recipients are recognized for their contributions to the science and/or for their dedication to enhancing the Association.

Larry Meckel is this year’s AAPG Sydney Powers Memorial Award recipient while Ed Dolly wins this year’s Michel T. Halbouty Outstanding Leadership Award.
