Geo‐DC; Fighting a Losing Battle

December 2009 By Robert Shoup

Do not let the title of this article mislead you; I am a strong supporter of the GeoDC office. I was not always so, but the excellent job done by Don Juckett, and now by David Curtiss have far exceeded my initial expectations. They have accomplished many good things, and David will accomplish many more good things. He will continue to help us to raise awareness in Washington DC about the real nature of the petroleum industry, and most importantly, he will help AAPG to become the go to Association for nonpartisan, scientifically sound information regarding energy.
