As you all may be aware, one of the major activities ofthe Ad hoc Reserves and Resources Committee of the DPA is tosupport JCORET (Joint Committee on Reserves Evaluator Training).JCORET is sponsored by the AAPG, SPE, SPEE and WPC.These are the same four societies that sponsored and generatedPRMS (Petroleum reserves Management System).

The members of JCORET from the AAPG/DPA are:

Daniel J. Tearpock, Bill Kazmann and John Coleman. Eachmember serves on JCORET for a 3 year rotation. Dan Tearpockis also the Vice-Chairman of JCORET as well and serves on thecurriculum committee.

JCORET needs your assistance. Mr. Bill Kazmann's term willbe over on June 30, 2010. We are looking for a new member toserve on the JCORET Committee starting July 1, 2010 to June30, 2013. The committee meets each quarter and has variousshort phone conferences throughout the year. We are looking forsomeone who is willing to serve on the Curriculum committee toreview submitted courses for approval by JCORET. Most coursessubmitted are more in the engineering areas. There are muchfewer courses in the geosciences, at least to date.
