AAPG Participation in the 9th Annual Geoscience Congressional Visits Day

The ninth annual Geoscience Congressional Visits Day saw the attendance of 9 geoscience societies as well as four AAPG representatives. The overall message from geoscientists to their legislators focused on the value of geosciences and the need to support strong and sustained federal investment in geoscience education. Preparing the next generation of petroleum professionals needs to be a high priority across the nation.
