Letter From the Editor

December 2013 By Sarah Stanley

As I reviewed R.C. Shoup’s article on “Why I Chose to be a Member of the DPA” I was struck by Robert’s comments on volunteering for service within the AAPG, and how rewarding volunteering can be. As a member of the AAPG, the House of Delegates, and the DPA I have been privileged to meet some of the best and most interesting individuals in our industry, as well as leaders within our community and professional organizations associated with petroleum geology and geophysics.
