You or your student-led organization could win an AAPG Foundation US $500 L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Grant – US $80,000 in funds are available.

Entry deadline is 15 April 2016.

Undergraduate Students

Students studying geoscience can use their portion of the grant to purchase equipment required for hands-on exploration (e.g., rock hammers and camping equipment), attend conferences, take field trips and purchase other exploration related materials. Individual student recipients can also apply their funds toward tuition fees.

Student Associations

Student associations, chapters and clubs can use their portion of the grant to support student activities through the purchase of necessary equipment; purchase other exploration-related materials; and/or the funding of conferences and field trips.
