The AAPG Foundation will sponsor Earth Science Week from October 14-20th. Earth Science Week encourages everyone to explore and learn about the geosciences. “Discovering Careers in the Earth Sciences,” the theme for 2012, will engage young people and the public in learning how geoscientists gather and interpret data about the Earth and other planets.
