William (Bill) Fisher served diligently on the AAPG Foundation Board of Trustees for 12 years and the last six as its chairman. During the Trustee Board meeting at ACE Pittsburgh, Fisher affirmed his decision to depart and expressed his gratitude to the Members of the Corporation for these many years of camaraderie and mutual service. James (Jim) Gibbs was elected chair, M. Ray Thomasson was elected secretary, and Lee Backsen was newly elected to the board.
