The AAPG Foundation is now accepting applications for its newest program - the U.S. Military Veterans Scholarship Program. This U.S.-based program affords the opportunity for veterans to apply for $2,000 - $4,000 in funds for tuition and cost of attendance to support their undergraduate pursuits in the geosciences.

Veterans bring real world experiences, leadership skills and motivation that not only assures their educational success, but also readies them for success in whatever path they choose following their service. The U.S. Military Veterans Scholarship Program is designed to promote the advancement of those highly talented student veterans in educational geoscience programs at the undergraduate level.

Those encouraged to apply for these scholarships include active U.S. Military service members (including National Guard and Reserve) and veteran members separated from active military service.

 

Scholarships range from $2,000 - $4,000. Don’t miss your chance to apply - application deadline is 12 AM (PST), 15 May 2015.
