Congratulations to the 2015 L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Grant Recipients!

This year the L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Selection Panel convened and scored more than 350 grant applications. The volunteer team included Trustee Associates Denise Cox, Ron Nelson, Steve Laubach, Jim McGhay, and Valary Schulz-West. Thanks to their time and efforts the Foundation will be awarding the top scoring candidates and will soon award seventy-six $500 grants to top scoring undergraduate students and seventy-six $500 grants to top scoring undergraduate student organizations.

Each $500 grant given is intended to support the educational endeavors of undergraduate geoscience students and their student-led organizations.

Thanks to generous contributors, including L. Austin Weeks and Marta Weeks-Wulf, the Foundation will proudly grant $76,000 in funds to geoscience students and student-led organizations in 2015. A complete list of all 2015 awardees is below.
