Congratulations to the 2012-2013 L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate recipients! The AAPG Foundation awarded 59 grants. The disbursement of the grant consists of $500 per qualified AAPG Student Chapter and $500 per selected undergraduate student. The grant award is used to support geoscience-related educational activities.

The AAPG Foundation funds the L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Grant Program through a generous endowment gift from the late L. Austin Weeks and Marta Weeks-Wulf. The purpose of the grant is to support educational expenses of undergraduate geoscience students and their departments. Undergraduate earth science majors must be members of their AAPG Student Chapter, but AAPG membership is not required.
