Professional Women in Earth Sciences
AAPG desires to see increased participation of women in the Energy industry and in Earth sciences. This desire resulted in the establishment of the PROWESS Committee. PROWESS was charged by the AAPG Executive Committee to promote professional women in Earth sciences. Their mission includes interacting with women in Earth science, their male peers and employers, educational institutions, and professional societies.
