More! Rocks in Your Head (MRIYH) covers a full scope of earth science topics for Pittsburgh-area elementary and middle school teachers, who will be guided in each section with background information, vocabulary and projects, plus cross–curricular segments and ideas for the gifted and talented students. All projects are hands–on, making earth science a fun and memorable learning experience.
Janie Schuelke, MRIYH creator and presenter, holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Houston. Janie has been producing the workshop for 12 years, enhancing and increasing the teaching of earth science across America and training more than 3,800 teachers.
