Essay Competition
This conference poses the question:
After more than 40 years of varied upstream activity in the North Sea petroleum province, what key knowledge can we take forward into the future?
Essay Question:
What will be the role of young geoscience professionals (you!) in the North Sea Petroleum Industry in the next two decades?
Entry Conditions:
Entry is open to all geology, geophysics or mining MSc or PhD student in Europe. Your essay should be no more then 750 words.

- What are the positives and negatives of the oil industry vs. other industries?
- Would you rather work for a large vs. a small company?
- Are you considering working abroad, if yes, when in your career?
