Communications
AAPG’s news publication is the Explorer and its science journal is The Bulletin. The association’s website is located at www.AAPG.org. AAPG also produces the public-focused site, www.petroleumgeology.org.
Datapages
AAPG Datapages features the world’s largest upstream literature archives, as well as thousands of GIS files and georeferenced maps in our GIS-UDRIL program. Visit the AAPG Center to talk with a technical representative and see more than 150,000 documents and
GIS-format files, including the online Bulletin archives that are free to AAPG members only. You can also find out about single-user Archive subscriptions (available to AAPG members only) and ask about publishing your presentation on Search and Discovery.
Divisions
The AAPG has three technical Divisions that offer services, information and activities: Energy Minerals Division (Providing Energy Commodity Geoscientific Information & Specialty Training); Division of Professional Affairs (Specialty Certification for Petroleum Geologist, Petroleum
Geophysicist and Coal Geologist); Division of Environmental Geosciences (Environmental Information in the Exploration and Development of Energy Resources). Stop by the AAPG Center to learn more about the features and benefits of each division and how they apply to your career.

Sections/Regions
AAPG has six sections in the United States composed of affiliated geological societies in the area and six international regions which include Association members as individuals or as groups of affiliated geological societies. Each section and region has its own officers and
meetings, and provides a forum for discussion of the geologic issues pertinent to the area. Come visit us in the AAPG Center for more information.
