Authors are asked to consider allowing their work to be posted on AAPG’s Search and Discovery. Permission to allow your presentation on Search and Discovery needs additional permission. Final posting is subject to editorial approval.

Publishing Permissions

Abstracts and Extended Abstracts

1. Permission to publish your abstract is implied when you submit it.
2. If you submitted an Extended Abstract, permission for AAPG to publish it is also implied, along with your acknowledgement that you have permission to use any material contained within it that has been previously published or is property of another individual or company and that you are transferring limited copyright* to AAPG in the same manner as that required for any other AAPG publication.

*Authors retain the right to republish parts of their own work in their own future works, with proper citation of its original publication by AAPG. In addition authors are free to make multiple copies of their own presentations for any purpose.
