Message from the General Chairman
I am pleased to invite you to this two-day conference in Rueil-Malmaison on the 23rd and 24th November 2009. The aim of the conference is to review the current status and perspectives of European hydrocarbon resources, from the Mediterranean to the Arctic, and from the Urals and Black Sea to the Atlantic margins.
The last session will be dedicated to unconventional resources and sustainable development, addressing further perspectives for securing Europe energy needs, (i.e. tight gas, gas shales) along with coal, the use of CO2 for enhanced oil recovery, as well as geothermal energy.

General Chairman
