2015 Carbonate Reservoirs of the Middle East GTW

The AAPG “Carbonate Reservoirs of the Middle East” GTW took place 23-25 November 2015 in Yas Island Rotana, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

104 industry professionals from 16 countries and 40 companies attended the workshop to network with peers and colleagues and learn about the industry’s geosciences. 15 presentations took place, representing a combination of 13 different companies and academic institutions.

Highlights included very productive core display sessions with active participation from the workshop delegates, an inaugural keynote speech delivered by Mohammed Samir Al Silwadi on behalf of Mohamed Juma, informative keynote presentations for each session, and two exciting field trips.
