The Geothermal Cross Over Technology Workshop it is defining the last pieces of its program. It has just been published on the AAPG Europe Events website.

Program Highlights
  • Raymond Leavey from EGU will open the first session with the talk "Hydrocarbon-Geothermal Exploration 'Cross-Over' Technologies".
  • From the University College of Dublin, John Walsh will present "The Role of Tertiary Strike-Slip Faulting in Sub-Surface Fluid Flow in Ireland: Potential Implications for UK and Irish Geothermal and Petroleum Systems."".
  • The second day will open with "Novel Play Approach for Ultra-Deep Geothermal" by Thijs Boxem, TNO.".
  • And opening the last session of the workshop Enhanced Geothermal Systems and Petroleum Reservoir Fracking, a talk about "Microseismic Monitoring of Geothermal Systems" by Gillian Foulger from Durham University.".
