Opening and Plenary Session of the 3P Arctic Conference & Exhibition Announces Speakers

The first day of the 3P Arctic Conference & Exhibition is 29 September. Erik Lundin, of Statoil, will welcome attendees and introduce three speakers for the opening and plenary session. Geir Richardson, Statoil will join Jonathan Bujak, Bujak Research International and Bernard Coakley, Univeristy of Alaska as speakers.

Richardson's paper is entitled ”Towards the 23rd Round”. He has been the Vice President New Access/Exploration Norway since September, 2014.

He started his career as a geologist in Saga Petroleum AS in 1991. In 1999 he moved to RWE DEA where he worked until 2001 when he joined Statoil. Geir has had several management positions within Statoil/exploration including exploration manager Libya and Egypt, Vice President Exploration Barents Sea, Vice President Exploration Norwegian Sea and Vice President Exploration Canada.

Dr. Richardsen has a PhD in geology from the University of Tromsø (UiT).
