AAPG’S Asia Pacific Region first GTW in Australia on “Opportunities & Advancements in Coal Bed Methane in the Asia Pacific” welcomed 27 expert speakers and 101 delegates who enjoyed the presentations and mostly, the networking.
Over 100 delegates attended the Geosciences Technology Workshop in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, 26-27 May. Attendees heard technical talks under the theme “Tectonic Evolution & Sedimentation of the South China Sea”.

The beautiful city of Wellington was the venue for AAPG’s first Geosciences Technology Workshop (GTW) in New Zealand. Held at the Wharewaka convention centre, adjacent to Wellington Bay, the event welcomed 66 industry delegates.

AAPG has signed an MOU with sister society EAGE and MGS for the joint organization of the first Myanmar Oil & Gas conference. The event is scheduled to take place in Yangon, from 19-20 November 2015.

A strong program has been developed for the first AAPG GTW in Sabah, Malaysia. Together with presenters from more than 10 countries who will contribute their knowledge and understanding to the workshop, as well as 17 poster presentations, we will have five keynote addresses to keep all delegates very informed.
AAPG's first workshop in New Zealand will comprise four half-day sessions focused on broad depositional environment settings.
