The AAPG Universitas Gadjah Mada Student Chapter has once again presented the International Energy Summit (IES), an annual event which was inspired by the chapter's concern about future energy needs. IES was developed by sharing knowledge, the state of research and experience about petroleum energy issues. The concept of this year's event was a one-day course as well as discussion sessions, which pondered on the Oil Price Process and Regulation Difference: Decision in the Middle of Crisis as the main theme.

The second session of this event was given by Mr Denie S. Tampubolon from Pertamina. He is a Senior Vice President, Upstream Business Development of Pertamina, a subsidiary of Pertamina managing Mahakam PSC and other selected expiring PSCs in Indonesia.
