American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG)

For two weeks in February, the Asia Pacific region welcomed AAPG Distinguished Lecturer Dave Cantrell.  Dave visited Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Cambodia, where he gave lectures to universities and supporting societies. The organisations welcomed his talks and found them very interesting.  Though it was a very packed two weeks, Dave said he had a fantastic time.  He also visited Borobodur in Indonesia, with the students being his guides.

Dave L. Cantrell has over 33 years of worldwide exploration and development experience in the oil industry. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with an MSc in Geology in 1982, and from the University of Manchester with a PhD in Geology in 2004.
